What is CAIR and why don't they Want you to See "Honor Diaries"

by Sally Zahav

"Honor Diaries" is a recent film (2013) documenting the institutionalized violence against women and denial of their basic human rights in the Muslim world. Read about it here: http://www.honordiaries.com/home/

It has been screened world wide and has won much acclamation as a truthful, unbiased documentary that addresses sensitive and widespread issues related to women in the Muslim world. Recently, CAIR (Council on American–Islamic Relations) has been attempting to prevent the screening of this film on college campuses with the predictable canard that the film is "islamophobic". What's the real reason?

Last month Megyn Kelly conducted an interview with CAIR representative Agnieszka Karoluk and Brooke Goldstien, a human rights attorney, on why CAIR has been working to prevent screenings on college campuses. Watch Megyn Kelly's interview here.
